Finance Archive

Terms of use

Study freely. Decide carefully.

The ground rules for using the archive: it is a teaching tool, its figures are illustrative, and it is not financial advice.

Last updated 2026-10-07

Educational use only

Finance Archive is a learning resource. Its articles, worked cases, formulas, practice questions, and lab tools are provided to help you understand finance — not to tell you what to do with your money.

Nothing here is financial, investment, tax, accounting, or legal advice, and using the archive does not create any adviser relationship. Make real decisions with a qualified professional who knows your situation.

  • The content teaches concepts and methods; it does not recommend products or securities.
  • Worked examples are simplified to make a point, not to model a real transaction.
  • You are responsible for any decision you make after reading.

Illustrative figures

Examples use illustrative currency amounts (typically Bangladeshi taka) and rounded assumptions. Calculations are hand-checked, but simplified inputs, rounding, and estimation can still differ from a real filing, model, or exam answer key.

Always verify a figure against a primary source before relying on it for coursework, an exam, or a professional task.

No warranty

The archive is provided as-is and as-available, without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including fitness for a particular purpose and accuracy. Features may change, and content may be corrected or removed at any time.

Your submissions

You keep ownership of the notes, questions, and comments you write. By publishing them to the collaboration area, you grant a licence to display and share them within the archive, and you confirm that you have the right to post them.

Do not post content that is unlawful, misleading, hateful, or that infringes someone else's rights. The maintainer may remove any submission that breaks these terms.

Acceptable use

Use the archive for personal study, teaching, and non-commercial sharing. Do not attempt to disrupt the service, scrape it at scale, or misrepresent its content as official financial guidance.

Intellectual property

The structure, interface, and original explanations of the archive belong to their author. Named sources, standards, and reference works cited in articles remain the property of their owners and are used for study and attribution.

Limitation of liability

To the extent permitted by law, the maintainer is not liable for any loss or damage arising from the use of, or reliance on, the archive or its content.
